This had been done in the past by others, so I decided to add a few extra stops to the mix. A Water Park, Mini Golf, Downtown Disney, and a few Disney Resorts. How many could I visit in 24 hours? The rules were simple, visit each park or resort, do one activity unique to that park, document the progress, and have fun!

Originally placed in the park ahead of the 100 Years of Magic celebration in 2001, the 122ft tall Sorcerer Hat Icon was intended to be a temporary addition to the park, but it became a permanent feature. Its days are now numbered.

The removal is expected to begin soon and to be completed by early 2015. The fate of the stage that has blocked this view of the hat in recent years is unknown, but many cast members expect it to be removed along with the stage. The removal of both would allow an unobstructed view of the Chinese theater from Hollywood Boulevard.
