Happy Halloween and Merry Christmas at the Disneyland Resort

Yes, there are still oodles of orange bunting on Main Street and pumpkins in the hub, but Sleeping Beauty Castle is covered in ghostly white snow and New Orleans Square is nearly fully decorated. We also have the full listing of recently published refurbishment schedules from Disney and a look throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure as the Holidays creep in.

http://wdwnt.com - The Oriental Land Company announced earlier today plans to invest 500 billion yen (approximately $4.5 billion USD) in the next 10 years for the development and expansion of Tokyo Disneyland’s Fantasyland and the addition of a new themed port at Tokyo DisneySea. The plan for redevelopment in TDL revolves around Fantasyland which will be nearly doubled in size when completed. In addition to the renovation of the already existing Fantasyland, new major attractions, shops and restaurants will be added.

Tokyo Disney Resort Said to Be Planning a Major 'Frozen'-Themed Attraction

http://www.themeparkinsider.com - Nikkei Asian Review is reporting that Oriental Land Co., the company that owns and operates the Tokyo Disney Resort, will build a major Frozen-themed attraction for the resort in 2017. The new attraction will be part of "partial renovation" of the resort and the centerpiece of a US$4.5 billion capital investment in the resort between now and 2023. Where will the new Frozen attraction be? According to the article, that's undecided. It could take the place of the It's a Small World ride in Tokyo Disneyland, which is slated to be moved as part of the park's renovation plan.
